Our Testimony

The Story, The Vision, The Mission

VISION STATEMENT

Our apostolic vision rests on the prophetic arm of worship and deliverance. We believe in forcefully advancing the kingdom of God by preaching and teaching God’s righteousness on the earth through intentional ministrations to the marginalized and less privileged as well as those in the fold all around the world. We believe this vision will restore many people back to a heart of worship with God. We will through the perfect help of the Holy Spirit, point the unbelieving believers to believe in God’s only son Jesus Christ by leading exemplary lives through his word in the Bible.

VISION

Point people to believe in His teachings which leads and guides the way into all truth

Prepare and plant eternity in the hearts of believers, giving all the glory to the Father alone

To spread the Kingdom of God and His righteousness on the earth

Through His Holy Spirit, point people to believe in His Son Jesus Christ

MISSION

Our mission, not restricted to:

Lead an exemplary life of worship and righteous lifestyle, full of the Holy spirit, prayerful and teachable

Demonstrate a life of unity in the Spirit Romans 12

Replicate this life in as many people that come in contact with this fellowship

Reach the unbelieving believers around the world. The Martha’s of the world. John 11:39-40

According to Isaiah 45:13, God has raised Jesus Christ in Righteousness and with Jesus in us, we will also be directed by His Holy Spirit to build cities, to build up people and to set them free from shackles, not for price or reward

FELLOWSHIP OF SOR FAMILY

The first appearance of the word fellowship in the Bible is in Leviticus 6:2. It is transliterated from the Hebrew term tesumeth yad, which also means "deposit." The Greek form koinõnia is used in the new testament, meaning "communion" (Galatians 2:9; Ephesians 3:9) and metochē, meaning "partnership" (2 Corinthians 6:14). SOR will aim to be an avenue for these.

As believers, we have fellowship with the Father (1 John 1:3), the Son (1 Corinthians 1:9) and the Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:1). In addition, we are encouraged to pursue fellowship with other believers (1 John 1:7) as the early disciples did (Acts 2:42).

Some of the things shared together by these disciples include:

The ministry of the Gospel - Galatians 2:9, 1 John 3:8

Understanding the Gospel mystery - Ephesians 3:9

Suffering - Philippians 3:10, Romans 12:15

Material things-2 Corinthians 8:4

At SOR, fellowship happens at the following levels:

General member worship gatherings with God, through worship, the word and prayer

Individual and group deliverance ministrations

Access to intercessory prayer

Bearing one another’s burdens through material support

PSALM 45:6-7

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your companions.
